This Privacy Policy describes how Virtual Verse Studio (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal data when you visit trialoftheancients.com (the “Site”) or sign up for the beta.
What we collect
- Email address, when you submit the beta signup form.
- Your headset, if you choose to tell us in that form. It is used to plan beta waves.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, browser, time) to deliver the Site and keep it secure.
The Site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. To decide how much of the 3D experience your device can show, the Site checks your graphics capability in your browser; the result stays on your device and is not sent to us.
How we use it
- To send you the beta updates you signed up for.
- To plan beta cohorts and decide which headsets to support.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the Site and send email:
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores the beta list and delivers email. See kit.com/privacy.
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts the Site. See aws.amazon.com/privacy.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from any email we send with one click. You can also email us at contact@virtualverse.studio to request a copy of the data we hold about you, or to have it deleted. Where the GDPR or CCPA applies, you have rights to access, correct, delete and object to processing.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page.
